Waste Oils
Rendering is the process of converting animal by-products into useful materials such as tallow, grease, and protein meals. Waste oils, including used cooking oil and animal fats, are often recycled and process in rendering facilities. Roper’s gear pumps play a role in various aspects of the rendering process including oil transfer and pumping, tallow processing, grease production, dosing additives or preservatives, waste oil recovery, and effluent treatment systems.
