Roper Pump Company is proud to announce the promotion of Andy Downing to Vice President, Sales & Marketing. In this expanded leadership role, Andy will oversee all aspects of the company’s commercial operations, including Inside and Outside Sales, Marketing, and Product Management.
Andy brings a wealth of industry knowledge and a proven track record of success to his new role. Since joining Roper Pump in 2019, Andy has made a significant impact—first leading the Directional Drilling and Completions businesses, and later transitioning to the Pump division where he served as Regional Sales Director for the South Central US where he achieved remarkable growth for both Roper Pump and our channel partners over the last several years. In 2024, Andy earned the distinction of Top Pump Salesperson for the Company through record sales in his territory.

Prior to joining Roper, Andy spent two decades with Halliburton Energy Services, ultimately serving as North America Regional General Manager for its Sperry Drilling division. His leadership experience at Halliburton, combined with his commercial success at Roper, make him exceptionally well-qualified to lead the Company’s global sales and marketing efforts.
