XERIC Pumps
XERIC – Redefining the standard for progressive cavity pumps; helping industry run smoother with reduced downtime and improved energy efficiency.
- Reliably Efficient
- Dry-Run Capable
- Compact Design
- Gentle & Stable Conveyance
- Economical Operation
Configuración Opciones
- Roper Pump renewal parts are designed for direct interchangeability with many traditional pin joint style pumps.
- Many of these pumps continue to operate reliably with simple periodic maintenance.
- We offer parts for Robbins & Myers Moyno® “L” Frame units, and most Tarby® pumps.
Revolutionary Pumping Element
- No stator rubber to potentially fail Actual run dry capability
- Doesn’t require constant monitoring
- Unsurpassed chemical resistance
- More than 2X pressure per stage
- Patented laminated disk design
- Labyrinth seal effect between precision fit rotor and proprietary XERIC alloy steel stator
Superior Capabilities
- High temperatures, stator rated to 600°F, pump to 450°F
- Higher viscosity applications, 320cSt - 1,000,000cSt
- Higher pressure capabilities, 150psi per stage
- Addresses challenge of incompatible elastomer and fluid
- No requirement for constant inlet feed
- Gentle transfer of shear sensitive liquids
XERIC
A revolutionary, dry-run progressive cavity pump that handles high-consistency products & provides continuous, pressure-stable, gentle conveyance.
XERIC Nomenclature
The Model Number consists of a five-digit number followed by a three or four letter material code.
- The first digit (9) indicates the Xeric progressing cavity pump series.
The second digit (1 or 2) indicates the number of stages of pumping elements.
The third digit (8) indicates the drive size or configuration.
- 8 = Hopper feed (flange mounted motor), pin joint construction
The fourth, fifth, and (where appropriate) sixth digits indicate the approximate theoretical displacement in U.S. gallons per 100revolutions.
4th, 5th, 6th digits | 06 | 13 | 24 | 49 | 96 | 105 |
Gal./100 Rev. | 6 | 13 | 24 | 49 | 96 | 105 |
The letter “M” may be used in this space to indicate that the pump was originally supplied by the Roper factory mounted on a base (with or without the motor).
The three letters (GHH) indicate the materials of construction. The first letter (G) indicates the pump body. The second letter (H) indicates the internals. The third letter (H) indicates the stator.
Item | Letter | Material |
Pump Body | G | Alloy Steel |
Internals | H | Alloy steel, hard chrome plated rotor |
Stator | H | High strength alloy steel tube and profile |

Note: Maximum speed and flow can only be achievable under the correct inlet (suction) and liquid conditions. Liquid viscosity and discharge pressure, plus pumping conditions will determine actual flow (ie. – theoretical minus slip). Minimum viscosity of X.
