3600 High Pressure
Comparable to Brown & Sharpe (BSM) pumps.
Our 3X11 is a drop-in replacement for BSM pump sizes 8, 10 & 12. Our 3X17 is a drop-in replacement for BSM size 14. We currently have 4 sizes available:
- BSM 8 = 07 GPR
- BSM 10 = 09 GPR
- BSM 12 = 13 GPR
- BSM 14 = 22 GPR
Model variations available that drop into 4 BSM models.
3600 High Pressure Nomenclature
The first digit (4) indicates the port arrangement.
- 3 = 3600 Series with right angle ports
- 4 = 4600 Series with straight through ports
The second digit (5) indicates a triple lip seal packing.
- 2 = Triple Lip Seal with Back-Up Packing
- 5 = Triple Lip Seal or “standard” Cartridge Seal (use “C” in special model options)
- 6 = Packing
- 7 = Mechanical Seal or any non-standard Cartridge Seal (use with “C” in special model options) that is further explained by use of a spec number
The third and fourth digits (xx) indicate the size of the pump.
The fifth digit (S) indicates a Short Back Plate in the pump.
The letters (HP) indicates a high pressure pump.
The letter (F or A) indicates port style.
- No letter = Pump with threaded ports
- F = Pump with Roper standard flange ports
- A = Pump with flange facing to accept ANSI Flanges
The SERIAL number is a unique number assigned to each pump built by Roper Pump Company.
In any communication concerning this pump, always be sure to include the Figure, Spec, Serial, and Type numbers so proper identification of the pump can be assured.
