Honey, Molasses & Sugar
Roper’s gear pumps are versatile and can be used in various stages of honey extraction and sugar processing. They transfer honey from honeycombs or collection trays to processing tanks or vessels, filter and strain honey to remove impurities, handle and transfer molasses in sugar refining and ethanol production, produce sugar syrups from sugar cane or sugar beet juice, circulate sugar solutions through crystallizers or cooling tanks to create crystalline sugar or sugar cubes, and transfer honey, molasses, or sugar to bottling or packaging lines.
