V Series
The V Series is a magnetic drive, seal-less helical gear pump. It has neodymium magnets with up to 5ft/lb torque in strength and a stainless steel containment shell. This pump has ductile iron housings with hardened steel gears and shafts, plus through ports. The V Series is capable of running at nominal 1800 rpm motor speeds, and has up to 5.4 GPM max flow.

V Series Nomenclature
The Model Number consists of a four digit number. The first digit (V in the example) indicates the V series magnetic drive gear pump.
The second and third digits (05) indicates the appropriate theoretical displacement in tenths of gallon per 1000 revolutions.
Tenths of Gallon/1000 Rev. [Liters/1000 Rev.]
- 05 GPR [1.9 LPR]
- 10 GPR [3.8 LPR]
- 20 GPR [7.6 LPR]
- 30 GPR [11/4 LPR]
The fourth digit (P) indicates the type of faceplate on pump.
- P = Plain faceplate
- R = Relief valve faceplate
- 1-5 ft-lb
- A = Neodymium
- X = Pump less magnetic coupling and containment barrier
- N = Buna
- V = Fluoroelastomer
- E = EPDM
- S = TFE Encapsulated
- T = Solid TFE
- U = Perfluoroelastomer
- C = Carbon
- B = Bronze
- Y = Iron
- D = Ductile Iron except bracket
- L = Footless
- K = With foot
- J = Pump less bracket and foot
- H = Bare pump without accessories
- M = Mounted pump and accessories
- O = Less bracket and coupling
Occasionally, special pumps or configurations are required which are unique for a particular application. These modifications are clarified by a SPECification number. Identification of any items different than a standard pump can be made by consulting Roper Pump Company or an authorized distributor.
- A = low pressure spring
- B = high pressure spring (standard)
The SERIAL number is a unique number assigned to each pump built by Roper Pump Company.
In any communication concerning this pump, always be sure to include the Figure, Spec, Serial, and Type numbers so proper identification of the pump can be assured.

Note: Maximum speed and flow can only be achievable under the correct inlet (suction) and liquid conditions. Liquid viscosity and discharge pressure, plus pumping conditions will determine actual flow (ie. – theoretical minus slip).
